Virtues Toolbox

This page is best viewed from a laptop or tablet.

Think of a challenge you are having.

It could be a problem, big or small, or

a goal you are trying to reach.

Next, click on one of the locks.

The lock will open to a selection of virtues.

Take a minute with each virtue.

Reflect upon each in light of your challenge.

Suggested Use:

Think about your challenge and then tap on one of the revolving key holes twice (sometimes 3 times, as locks are sometimes hard to open). Skim over the varied but related virtues seen on the page and reflect upon each virtue for a moment in relation to your challenge. As you do this, you are likely to find that the virtues help you think about your challenge from other perspectives and open you to greater insights and / or action steps you could take, to not only help you with your challenge, but also help you to develop that virtue.

Virtues are at the Essence

of all the world's religions

and spiritual practices.

Every Challenge is an Opportunity to develop a Virtue!

Please Note:

Although the Baha'i Writings and the Virtues Reflection Cards (produced by the Virtues Project TM) inspired this tool, it does not represent any exercise mentioned in the Baha'i Writings, other than the importance of reflecting upon the Holy Writings. Therefore, there are also some quotes from the Baha'i Writings on the cards (from a special Tablet called The Seven Valleys). Nevertheless, it's creation and purpose (which comes from an individual who happens to be a Baha'i) is meant only for the purpose of reflection upon the virtues. Thus, the virtues (and the questions asked upon each card, which come only from the creator of the tool) are not to be considered as any kind of advice giving or fortune telling oracle. Rather, each card, in its entirety, is only intended to assist in one's very own reflections.
