The Baha'i's of Cincinnati

You are most welcome to attend any event you see on the events board below, but the most commonly occurring event is called a Baha'i Fireside, which is also the best place to start if you are just beginning to learn about the Baha'i Faith.

Regular Monthly Firesides:
We typically hold Firesides on the first Friday of each month. Hosted by Katrina and Nafeh Fananapazir at their home: 1343 Michigan Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45208 (Hyde Park area) at 6:30pm.

Dinner Provided.

Devotional Deepenings
You are warmly invited to attend devotional deepenings which we plan to hold once every two weeks for the rest of this year. Members of all faiths are welcome. Lunch will be provided.
Topic:
Building familiarity with the scriptures of other religions
and how these scriptures relate to the Bahá’í teachings.

Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Parking: Please park on Michigan Avenue or in the shopping plaza opposite the entrance to the parking garage for the apartments. The plaza sits between Edwards Road and Michigan Ave.
Access: Our apartment is on the 3rd floor, and the elevator is accessed from the parking garage on Michigan Ave. Walk up the ramp to the first Exit sign in the middle of the parking garage, and on your left are glass doors that give access to the elevator. On the keypad to the right of the doors press directory, then select Karen Fananapazir(call) to unlock the door.

Reflections on the Life of the Spirit
All are welcome to join us in this Baha'i Ruhi Institute discussion where we will reflect upon the nature of prayer, and the mystery of life after death.
In the context of these themes, participants explore such concepts as:

what constitutes prayer, why it is essential, and its effects

the relationship between the soul and the body

the relationship between the contingent and the eternal realms
